Applied Behavior Analysis

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a proven, evidence-based therapy designed to encourage positive behavior change. By using reinforcement strategies, ABA helps individuals acquire new skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

ABA has been highly effective in fostering improvements in areas such as:

  • Cognitive abilities

  • Social and communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal)

  • Motor skills and coordination

  • Flexibility and adaptability

  • Compliance and daily living skills

  • Mindfulness and emotional regulation

At the same time, ABA can help decrease behaviors such as rigidity, aggression, irritability, and hyperactivity, providing a well-rounded approach to personal growth and development.

At Azula, our approach to ABA is individualized and child-led, creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment. By tailoring each program to the unique needs of your child, we can make meaningful and lasting progress together.

“An approach that blends values about the rights of people with intellectual disabilities with a practical science about how leaning and behavior change occur.”
